Decided to finish my back workout with deadlifts. 523lbs for 3 reps felt like 1,000 for 10. At the end of a back workout, the overload on the back muscles can be very beneficial for packing slabs of meat on the back regardless of how many folks say that deadlifts aren’t optimal for hypertrophy.

Do heavy deadlifts at the end of back day and then tell me your back isn’t being overloaded.
