Utah has head record snow and a lot of people think this will fill the lake right back up, but this isn't remotely true. The Great Salt Lake's levels have been trending downward for years because of drought, population increase, agriculture, and ya, climate change hasn't helped. But one good year of snow will not fix it. The lake is still drying up.
