The Smallest House in Britain

The Smallest House in Great Britain is just 72 inches wide by 122 inches high. The smallest house in Great Britain, often referred to as the "Quay House," is located in Conwy, Wales. It was occupied right up until May 1900, the last person to live in this tiny house was a local fisherman called Robert Jones (who also happened to be 6 foot 3) - before Mr Jones an elderly couple.

In 1900 the inspector from the Corporation declared Smalls and the other cottages built to the left of it unfit for habitation and all the tenants had to leave.

The Guiness Book of Records confirmed its status as the smallest house in Great Britain in the early 1920s.
