The Women's Ranch Bronc Championships (WRBC) was founded in 2016 by The McElroy's when a group young female athletes wanted to compete in the ranch bronc riding events but felt uncomfortable competing in male dominated open events.
The Women's Ranch Bronc Championships' main goal is to help female athletes of all ages and backgrounds reach their dreams as ranch bronc riders. The vision matured into what is now internationally known as The Trail to Cheyenne TourTM .
The Women's Ranch Bronc Championships strives to provide high-quality competition and to spotlight the talented female athletes of this sport for the established and in-coming rodeo fan base.
The WRBC has been a crowd favorite at some of the largest rodeo stages in the world. Cheyenne Frontier Days, Calgary Stampede, Ponoka Stampede, Days of 76, Blackhills Round-Up, Elizabeth Stampede and many more.
