A previously healthy and active 12 year old boy is on life support after acute myocarditis quickly turned into heart failure and he ended up needing an emergency heart transplant.

Miraculously he was able to get a heart transplant, but shortly after his transplant surgery, they found several clots in his brain and he needed emergency brain surgery.

He’s never had COVID. The doctors said he had acute myocarditis and “has not seen a case like this before, that most cases are mild, and kids who are brought in with myocarditis usually go home in about 2 weeks.”

His doctors were also stunned the severity of the clots and brain bleeding he suffered after the transplant and said it’s one of the worst 3 cases of a brain bleed after being on an ECMO device they’ve seen and he now has permanent and extensive brain damage and is still on life support.

Will you please say a prayer for him? The family needs a miracle.
