Romulus man charged in crash that killed Vivian Carmody, injured Eastern Market CEO

A 28-year-old Romulus man is facing charges in connection with a car crash that killed Vivian Carmody and injured her husband, Dan Carmody, the CEO of Eastern Market. According to the Wayne County prosecutor’s office, Jacob Thomas Mraulak has been charged with operating while intoxicated causing death, reckless driving causing death, operating while intoxicated causing serious injury, and reckless driving causing serious injury.
