John Eastman surrenders on charges in Trump’s Georgia 2020 election subversion case

Conservative attorney John Eastman, a proponent of a strategy to maintain Donald Trump’s presidency, presented himself to authorities on Tuesday to face charges in the Georgia case.

This case alleges an unlawful scheme to overturn the outcome of the 2020 election, where the former president suffered defeat.

Eastman was processed and booked into the Fulton County jail. He is anticipated to undergo an arraignment within the following weeks in connection with the extensive racketeering case, the Associated Press reported.
