The Executives at Warner Bros. have got to be quaking in their expensive shoes right now over the unmitigated failure of the DCEU. After months of reporting that the numbers didn't add up, we finally got vindication. The actual production budget (before marketing) for 'The Flash' is estimated at nearly $300m. Way higher than the originally quoted $200m. Now the film company has to come to terms with the fact that they have had over-bloated flop after over-bloated flop and need to course correct. But can they? With 'Aquaman' still waiting in the wings, it could spell disaster for the DCEU before James Gunn can start to try and undo any of the damage.
