Who Framed Roger Rabbit may not have as many fans as Back to the Future, but I would argue that it’s up there with Robert Zemeckis's best work. And the reason for that is the film's remarkably seamless fusion of live-action and traditional, hand-drawn, cell-by-cell animation.
