Shocking Eye-Witness Interview: Lahaina, Hawaii Fire-Front Street Police BLOCKED OFF THE EXITS

This is a full interview with 'Fish' from Lahaina with his shocking and personal eye-witness account of the Lahaina, Maui, fire.

'Fish' has lived in Lahaina for 14 years, does not call himself 'homeless', but instead, by choice, is 'houseless'. He lives in a tent, walks everywhere he goes, and has worked daily all these years supporting himself on the same corner selling his personally made items he's weaved, such as the hat he is wearing, out of palms.

Listen and watch as he gives you his step by step, on foot, first-hand experience on Front Street where the Police BLOCKED OFF the Exits 'ON ORDER' to residents trying to flee the fires on August 8, 2023.

It's heart-wrenching to watch as 'Fish' breaks down in tears as he recalls all that he witnessed and experienced. And, when asked at the end of this interview,
"Are there any gaps that you see right now for the community... I mean there's lots of gaps, don't get me wrong, but is there a GLARING GAP that you're seeing that the government should know that needs to be filled at this moment or anything you want to say in regards to the need that you're seeing in the community?"

'Fish' responds in his humble, sad, and soft voice:
"The only Gap I see is of the TRUTH, there's a BIG GAP in the TRUTH... that PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW THE TRUTH, you know...just QUIT LYING to us...just QUIT LYING...that's all".
