Guinea pigs enjoy cruise during lovely summer day
FurballsInc’s very own Bingo & Buster are enjoying a little summer joyride in this adorable clip. Watch the guinea pig duo take a ride in their convertible jeep and trailer. That looks like loads of fun, can we have take a turn?
How these little rodents came to be named “guinea pigs” is unfamiliar, though it is assumed that their pig-like built might have been the cause. Their heads are larger in relation to their bodies, with stout necks and rounded rumps with no tail, just like pigs. Even some of the sounds they make a very similar to those of pigs.
Guinea pigs are popular as pets in Western societies due to their docile nature and affectionate responsiveness while being handled and fed, as well as being relatively easy to take care of. Curious fact: it is illegal in Switzerland to keep a single guinea pig as pets, because they easily suffer of loneliness.
