It’s cloudy ominous of the upcoming heavy rainstorms that will hit the Las Vegas valley today 8/20/23 and tomorrow (8/21/23). As Southern Nevada and the rest of the state braces for Hurricane Hilary (what ???), Nevada state and municipal emergency management authorities have put weather alerts and warnings to residents in preparation for possible flash flooding in the area. I never heard the West Coast Pacific region gets hit hard of a hurricane. I’ve personally experienced two major hurricanes in Florida and the East Coast Atlantic region while living there in mid 2000s and they were real ones.
