As expected, DC’s the Blue Beetle bombed in its opening weekend, and it did so even worse than most were expecting. Coming in at 25 million domestically, we are solidly in rejected unseen territory, where word of mouth isn’t even that big a factor, because not enough people saw it to spread any word of mouth in the first place. The question then becomes, why not?
