THE BATTLE FOR THE WORD • This is my personal testimony about when God first spoke to me about healing and how we lost our daughter Selah shortly thereafter. This is the first time I have shared this publicly. Thank you @katycarnohan for asking me to share. “On one occasion, a leper came and threw himself down in front of Jesus, pleading for his healing, saying, “You have the power to heal me right now if only you really want to!” Being deeply moved with tender compassion, Jesus reached out and touched the skin of the leper and told him, “Of course I want you to be healed—so now, be cleansed!””

“The one on whom seed was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and at once welcomes it with joy; yet he has no [substantial] root in himself, but is only temporary, and when pressure or persecution comes because of the word, immediately he stumbles and falls away [abandoning the One who is the source of salvation].”

Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace].
