The Hawaiian fires have caused devastation and turned the island of Maui into an unmitigated disaster.

But just as disastrous has been the official response to the fire, including NO sirens going off to warn residents, water to fight the fires restricted and police actually turning residents in cars fleeing the flames back toward the fires.
