The year begins in Burkburnett, TX. I remember it being hot and miserable. We even tried frying an egg on the cement.

Pond Creek, Oklahoma. I took the girls to the Salt Plains to dig crystals. Horribly hot that day. To the point of making Jenna sick. What was I thinking?

And then the big storm the night before we were to head further north. Mark lost his trailer house. It could have been so much worse!

The year ends in Jordan, Montana.
