#50 The grand tour of the Yurt: Our home on the homestead is complete.

We reveal the full interior of our Yurt and show you all the finishing touches we have put into making this our cozy home. We are living in a Yurt on our land while our cabin, built from logs harvested from our land, is being finished . We left the city in August of 2021 to begin building an off-grid homestead on 285 acres of undeveloped land in southwest Virginia . Brooke was raised in San Diego and Chuck grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. Our homesteading journey brings out the best of both of our backgrounds to create an amazing life together as we work hard while keeping things light and fun in the process.
