#87 Family BUILDING a YURT: Celebrating a year of calling it our home

We constructed this yurt with the idea that it would be a temporary home (a couple months, at most) while our log home was being constructed. At that point it would become a guest house. Well, one year later we are still calling home and preparing for the possibility of spending another winter in it. As a reminder of all the hard work that went into creating this awesome abode, I thought a walk down memory lane would be a good way to celebrate! There is no doubt that this experience of moving from a 2600 sqft home into a 705 sqft yurt has brought our family closer and given us memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
