Michael Beale insists he has no issue with Ianis Hagi despite axing him from his Champions League squad for the playoff clash with PSV Eindhoven - but revealed the Romanian could be heading for the exit as the player and his agent hold talks over a potential move.

Hagi admitted his frustration at a lack of game time after coming off the bench in the Viaplay Cup last-16 win over Morton at Ibrox Stadium.

And Hagi has now been dumped from the Euro squad list, with Rabbi Matondo coming in for him.

But Beale - who handed Hagi a new deal shortly after taking over at Ibrox - said: “I have no issue with Ianis. He did well at the weekend. He wants to play as a starter and we might look at that before the window closes.
