"She is kicking hard": Katherine Herrmann had an emotional meeting with Darrell Conner, the father of Desiree Burge whose heart was successfully transplanted to Katherine, at the Cleveland Clinic on July 24. The hospital said Burge's organ donations saved the lives of five different individuals. “We know she made a difference, and we find comfort and pride in that,” Conner said.
