The entertainment industry has been in a tough position for some time now and I think one of the main reasons for this is because of all the streaming services out there.

They are all releasing absolute garbage content that gets destroyed by fans all the time after insane backlash. Disney Plus has been doing this since its inception and now it is losing hundreds of millions of subscribers each quarter resulting in many losses for the giant.

Amazon is starting to realise that all these pieces of so called "entertainment" that push identity politics and woke intersectional feminism isn't good for their business plan; they have just scrapped and cancelled the A League of Their Own reboot series along with The Peripheral.

The streamer is trying to create excuses for this decision as to not irritate and annoy the mob online. They are saying that the strikes were going to push these shows forward but due to mishaps in the scheduling, they are unable to showcase them.

This is absolute nonsense and anyone who knows the slightest thing about these streaming services will realise that these comments don't even line up with how the streaming model works.

The truth is that these studios within Hollywood are using the WGA and SAG-AFTRA as excuses to cancel their shows which they know are going to be gigantic financial flops for them.

I think it is a wise decision for Amazon to cutback on their content because soo much is being produced but with families cancelling their subscription plans, there will not be enough profit to offset the costs resulting in many losses.
