Ultima VII: The Black Gate — Fortes Fortuna Adiuvat | DOS [#05]

In their last adventure the Avatar and his Companions received a history lesson regarding his past journeys across Britannia (availing himself of some of the treasures found along the way!), before lending an ear to a farmer distraught about his fields invaded by a most unusual "tigerlion" (or was it "liontiger?") and receiving from him the most dangerous farm instrument in the world!

What followed after was a crisscrossing upon the waves as the Avatar is reunited with his longtime friend, the doughty fighter _Sir_ Dupre, as they thoroughly investigated the natural baths at Buccaneer's Den and investigated the totally fair-and-honest "House of Games" whose manager, "The Mister," knows absolutely _nothing_ about the mysterious hook-handed man they're after!

…and as if _that_ wasn't dangerous enough, the party had to content with the most notorious fighting school in the land, Jhelom's "Library of Scars," as they sought to duel-to-the-death the otherwise peaceful innkeeper who unwittingly stole their prized banner just to placate a previous "Avatar" — who was, himself, no more than a mere charlatan!

Now their travels take them into the rugged town of Minoc as a clue from Chuckles the Jester points them in the direction of a most bewitching fortune teller…
