The NXT Heritage Cup will be on the line when Nathan Frazer takes on Noam Dar in a Heritage Cup Rules match at NXT Heatwave!

Frazer is the rightful champion, having defeated Dar's proxy, Oro Mensah, at NXT Gold Rush. However, Dar has refused to accept that he is no longer the champion, and he has vowed to reclaim the cup at Heatwave.

This match will be contested under Heritage Cup Rules, which means that pinfalls and submissions are only allowed in the center of the ring. The first wrestler to score two falls in the center of the ring will be declared the winner.
