Two youngsters have been rescued together with six other people and two adults who were stuck on a cable vehicle suspended above a ravine in Pakistan.

The students, ages 10 to 16, were on their way to school when one of the lines snapped, leaving them dangling 274m (900ft) over the earth.

A police officer stated that both of the rescued children are in good health.

Strong gusts have hampered the perilous operation, and sunset is now coming.
