The experience of death can change a person. At a very young age, Sayen Gates experienced the death of her father, whom she was very close to. This can be devastating for anyone!
Sayen took the knowledge from this experience, and used it to effectively to become a caregiver for her aunt who had Stage 4 lung cancer. Caregiving is difficult, and in many cases very difficult. Sayen navigated this caregiving journey by giving of herself, while giving her aunt love, compassion, and the absolute best care she could possibly give.
