Confrontation Over Women and Young Girl's Exposure to Male Genitalia at Wi Spa in L.A.

A woman at the Los Angeles-area spa, Wi Spa, confronted employees after she, and other women and young girls, were traumatized by a man who entered the women’s section of the spa with his genitalia exposed. Wi Spa has been left in a no-win situation as they are forced to follow California Civil Code 51(b).

(b) All persons within the jurisdiction of this state are free and equal, and no matter what their sex, race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, sexual orientation, citizenship, primary language, or immigration status are entitled to the full and equal accommodations, advantages, facilities, privileges, or services in all business establishments of every kind whatsoever.

This is not an isolated incident. At the Century Day and Night Spa on Olympic Blvd. in LA, a trans individual exposed male genitalia in the female pools and locker rooms, sitting with legs spread wide in the pool and by taking front-facing showers. When confronted, the individual was adamant that the spa should attempt to normalize young girls and women to viewing male genitalia.
