e just got back from running supplies to the west side on @kaikananisailing with @fsmaui & @destinationresidenceshi and here are a few observations:

• We didn't see any smoke or flames on the west side.

• Looking back toward Haleakala, we didn't see any smoke or flames.

• After delivering a boatload of supplies, we were told canopy tents, tables, canned non-perishable foods, and fuel (propane) were still needed.

• Looting is a real problem on the west side right now.

• There's no lack of local volunteers to help. The problem is not enough security, too little access for those that can help, and transparency on what's going on.
