Texas is a 12 yr old Spotted Gypsy Vanner draft cross gelding that is a total gentleman at heart. He has done about everything that you can imagine from raking hay on the farm to being driven in parades with his sister Tonya who is also offered on Horsebid. He was also ridden around in the local fireman's carnival and never missed a beat. He is also a dream to trail ride! He will cross creeks and logs with no problem and is not spooky from wildlife or whatever else we might see on the trails. Texas will also stand at the mounting block or back up to a gate or even a piece of farm equipment for you to get on his back.
Texas has good barn manners and loves to be groomed and bathed. He is definitely one that the whole family can enjoy! Whether you want to give him to the children or grandchildren or yourself to trail ride or if you would like to Hitch him to the cart and drive him to town, you can do it all!! Texas has the smoothest walk-trot-canter that I knew a draft could have and will ride in the arena as well.
