Here we have an unlikely pairing of soon to be friends. Soon-to-be, because it seems like the cat is pretty dead set on spending some time alone, at least just for the moment. Speedy the baby emu seems captivated by Fritz the cat, but, in typical cat fashion, Fritz doesn't need any new friends.

The cat is, foremost, obviously older, and older cats really do love their alone time, but this little big bird just wants to have fun. It is almost like when a younger sibling wants to play with the older and just will not take no for an answer. Give it some time, Speedy!
