GOLD SHIELDS EPISODE 35, GARY EDGINGTON, COUNTERTERRORISM EXPERT AND AUTHOR

On this exciting Episode (35) of GOLD SHIELDS, Dan and Tom were so honored to have on the show the Former Counter-Terrorism Commander for California Department of Justice, a member of the FBI/JTTF, and Best Selling Author, GARY EDGINGTON. Gary explains the heartwarming relationship and tragic loss of his father, Harold Edgington, in 1979 when he was killed in the Line of Duty while Gary was in the Police Academy. After serving as a member of The Manhattan Beach and Beverly Hills Police Department, Gary moved on to the District Attorney's Office where he was involved in many high profile cases such as the Billionaire Boys Club case, and the O.J. Simpson Murder case. Gary will give you a look into these two complex investigations. In 1999 Gary was assigned to the FBI/JTTF and was assigned there until 2008, handling the horrors of 9/11. Gary went on to be the Counter-Terrorism/ Law Enforcement advisor with the U.S Army in Iraq and the Special Operations Command.
Gary is now a Best Selling Author of the exciting novel, “Outside The Wire”, about a Retired LAPD Lieutenant and an Army Nurse on the hunt for an Iranian operative in Iraq ... .Gary will answer the question whether the book is Fiction or Nonfiction….
