Day one depression week Haluski and fried apples. Sorry guys 1st one was missing a segment

1 stick butter, divided
1 onion, sliced or chopped as desired
1 head cabbage, sliced and cut into bite-size pieces
8-12 oz. package egg noodles
salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder to taste
Directions:

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until translucent. Add cabbage and about 1/4 cup of water. Cover and cook ten minutes.

Season to taste with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Add two more tablespoons of butter and more water if necessary. Cover and cook another ten minutes or until cabbage is tender.

Meanwhile, bring large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain well and return to pot. Stir in two tablespoons butter.

Add onion and cabbage mixture plus remaining two tablespoons butter to noodles and combine well. Taste and adjust seasonings

2 TBS water
1 TBS salted butter (or coconut oil)
1 TBS maple syrup
½ tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp fine sea salt
¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
