The team at OpenAI, the company behind the AI-powered chatbot Chat GPT, are trying to figure out ways to monetize the chatbot. The company has over $1 billion invested in it by Microsoft alone, and another $10 billion investment is on the table. As a result, they are considering creating a "ChatGPT Professional" version of the software, which would be always available without any blackout windows, with fast responses, no throttling, and the ability to post as many messages as needed.
However, it is important to note that this is still hypothetical, but there is a waitlist and a Google doc that has been created to gather feedback from users on payment preferences and pricing.
