Spacecraft touched the sun but why melt

Spacecraft that approach the Sun, like NASA's Parker Solar Probe, face intense heat and radiation. Despite using advanced heat-resistant materials, the extreme temperatures and energy from the Sun's corona can still cause some melting or damage to the spacecraft's outer layers.
