Garmin CHIRP technology compared to traditional fish finding sonar.

Garmin's new CHIRP sonar technology differs from traditional sonar by utilizing both low and frequency pulses. This results in much greater resolution and a better bottom picture. To discover how it works I spoke with Barry Dionysius from Navcom about Garmin's new CHIRP units and how modern fishers are utilising the new technology to their benefit.
