Build your Memory through Strength and Cardiovascular Exercise

It has been established that our cognitive functions start to decline at around 24 years of age. Here is a link to a study that backs this up. It is a interesting read as it show how we use our life experience and skill development to overcome any decline in our cognitive function as we age. http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0094215

The rate that our brains decline is in our control and whether you are young or old being physically active now will not only build bigger muscles but a bigger brain too. The research based evidence indicates that we can slow aging of our brains down by at least 10 yrs and I suspect it could be much more.

Both cardiovascular and weight training benefit our mental abilities. But they theorize it is for different reasons. While cardio is for the improved blood flow. Strength training has more to do with how it promotes nerve growth.
