Seminole pumpkins .. I had heard such wonderful review of them, from my good friends down South .. a Cucurbita with almost invulnerability to vine borer moths? A high producing storage squash with excellent storage characteristics, and convenient size for small family meals? I HAD to try them for myself. We planted two .. and then they grew .. and GREW. The soil around the plum trees and jujubes was in need of conditioning, so I put it in daikon and clover .. until the pumpkins came, and smothered everything. I am certain that the tillage radish had time to work its magic before the great darkening .. but now the mighty Moschata is climbing over EVERYTHING.

I know that I like to say that "I have no weeds" .. but I may have planted a couple!
