"Well, that's the plan, anyway" | Ep. 221

After having the you know what scared out of me on my last transit through the Great Round Shoal Channel, from the Atlantic into Vineyard Sound, this time I opt for the safer route out to Nantucket Light and then north to Maine. This route adds a fair bit of distance, but the present weather maps show reasonably good conditions for the passage. Two days later I am plagued by light and variable winds. Several days of strong headwinds have appeared in the forecast. This isn't going according to plan.
