SUPER RARE: NASA DC-8 flies over Hudson River (8/16/2023)

NASA has been performing research flights with its McDonnell Douglas DC-8 acorss major cities in the Northeast for its AEROMMA program studying emission levels affecting ari quality and climate.

After tracking it for some time, I took no chances and recorded it flying over the Hudson on its final research flight over New York before retuning to Palmdale, CA. This vintage aircraft is very rare to see in service nowadays and was lucky to catch it.
