Welcome to my review of what I think is the best family EV available today, the super Hyundai IONIQ 5. For reference, the review car is an IONIQ 5 Ultimate 73kWh RWD +Eco Pack & Tech Pack. 0-62 time is 7.4 seconds and the battery range is 268 miles.

This really is a special car, it works fantastically well as an electric car and its family car credentials are pretty much perfect. This Hyundai IONIQ 5 test car is capable of extremely fast charging.

Please note that the IONIQ 5 has had some updates since this review car was launched, the replacement car has slightly more power and range than the outgoing version. Is the IONIQ 5 the best electric car in 2022?

I try to make these car reviews as open and objective as possible and try to deliver them in a slightly different way from some others, as such, they may not be quite as polished, and they may not follow the same pattern, but I hope they are something a little different and enjoyable.
