After Bob Chapek’s surprise firing, most of Hollywood were elated because Bob Iger, one of the most revered people in the industry, was back in charge of Disney. It even appears he may be in the process of smoothing things out politically with the state of Florida!
But while Hollywood at large was delighted to see Bob Chapek gone, the joy was somewhat shortlived, because it would appear that many of his policies will be adopted and continued by Bob Iger!
In this editorial, @AndreEinherjar will begin by revisiting why Iger’s return was met with such hope, and how he dashed much of that hope right away. Then we’ll look at what Iger will do, and why that might not be enough to save Disney!
