They help increase your energy levels and can even help you prolong your life. To get these benefits, you can use them in the preparation of cakes, pies, salads, rice and cookies, or even consume them in their natural form.
But if you're allergic, you should stay away from them! According to experts, you shouldn't eat more than 7 walnuts per day! If you eat more, you may "overdose", which can have a negative impact on your health.
For example: You could gain weight because nuts have a lot of calories. For example, a handful of almonds contains about 180 calories - so if you eat double the serving, you'll end up with 360 calories in that snack.
This can lead to weight gain if you don't watch the calories you eat throughout the day. It can also cause problems with gas, bloating and digestion. This is because the so-called phytates and tannins in nuts make digestion difficult.
So, to avoid these unpleasant problems, you should stick to the recommended daily dose!
