Judge says Trump may be in handcuffs in Fulton County jail - Aug. 21, 2023

(August 21, 2023) Patrick “Pat” Labat is the sheriff of #FultonCounty, Georgia. He says if he doesn't follow all the rules, he would be in big trouble with his boss. Those rules include fingerprints, mugshots and handcuffs during arraignments for everyone arrested and in custody. #Georgia doesn't have any exemptions. Also, #DonaldTrump will not have armed #Secret Service agents with him either. That's a first!

Ironically, Sheriff Labat was named "Jail Administrator of the Year" by the Georgia Jail Association in 2015 and 2019. Bud according to a report by Newsmax, he runs one of the filthiest jails in the nation. So I guess he doesn't follow ALL the rules.
