"Crest BETRAYS Spinbrush" Arm and Hammer Name Change Ad (Lost Media) [Big Toothbrush Conspiracy?]

There is nothing worse than Betrayal. And John Spinbrush knew this all too well. John Spinbrush (inventor of the Spinbrush toothbrush) was PROMISED that his cheap disposable gimmick-in-the-vain-of-ron-popeil would forever remain under the PRESTIGE CREST branding. But sales were slipping. And we and the rest of the corporate board can't have failure attached to the Crest name. So we're moving it over the the B-team over at Arm and Hammer department. It's the lower mid-tier of dental hygiene accessory branding, if you know what I mean.

I'm sorry John Spinbrush. You just couldn't compete with Tooth Tunes. The toothbrush that plays songs on your teeth.

Damn. I think even Arm and Hammer sold the rights. It's not branded as anything but "spinbrush" now. Damn, maybe there really was a John Spinbrush. This is definitely worth a deep dive. Oh this? This isn't a deep dive. This is just a cursory glance. You ain't seen nothin' yet. Soon, the secrets of the spinbrush will be mine.

Ok, also we need to note that the first page of the FAQ is "Does my Spinbrush toothbrush really spin?" Yes. YES GODDAMN YES. IT'S CALLED A SPINBRUSH!

Um. Also you can still get a Arm and Hammer Spinbrush? Hmm. I guess they just license the tech?
