UK Public Transport is BROKEN | Cheaper than a daytrip to London?

Can you believe that I managed to get return flights and 2 nights in a luxury 4-star hotel right in the heart of Palma De Mallorca for less than a return train ticket from Bournemouth to London Waterloo?

How on earth is it possible to fly 1,200 miles for £100 less than a 100 mile train journey?

UK public transport is clearly broken, in my part of the world at least. We are expected to put up with substandard service, substandard cleanliness and security, and extortionate fares whilst much of Europe puts us to shame.

Let's stop criminalizing the motorist and start pointing the finger at the private companies and public bodies that have allowed this to happen.
