"Macy's CGI Letters to Santa Make a Wish Foundation" Lost Commercial (Christmas 2010)

The CGI is hurtful on this. Something about the lack of detail disturbs me. Did kids really write letters to Santa and bring them to the department store (Macy's) in 2010? Seems like maybe 60 years previous to that in the 1950's. They would have gone to Gimballs for a penny whistle and then dropped off the letter to St. Nick.
