After spending some time with the 2.2 Diesel Genesis G80 I couldn't wait to meet its younger brother, the G80 Electrified.

The Genesis G80 Electrified brings an EV drivetrain to what was already a very good luxury executive saloon and well...it just makes it better. It's more refined, quieter, has better acceleration when you need it; this makes for a more relaxing experience with this superb motorway mile muncher.

The G80's 87.2 kWh battery provides a real-world range of over 300 miles, in my tests at least, a 0-62 mph time of just 4.9 seconds, supreme ride comfort and a fantastic infotainment and technology experience.

It's not all perfect but I was suitably impressed and I think you will be too.
