The Hulk Honeycomb commercial was produced by Phil Kimmelman & Associates (PK&A) and Herb Trimpe, whose long run penciling The Incredible Hulk for Marvel was drawing to a close, did the character designs, as well as the color models and pencil layouts. (The animation studio produced the actual color cels from which the commercial was made.) This was Trimpe's first work in animation, preceding his Crest toothpaste commercials."
