The People’s Liberation Army Eastern Theater Command

The People’s Liberation Army Eastern Theater Command held joint sea and air combat drills on August 20th following DPP presidential candidate Lai Ching-te made a stopover visit to the US.

China 🇨🇳 stepped up these drills in response to provocative visits between the U.S. and officials in Taiwan, the latest being DPP presidential candidate Lai Ching-te.

This is China’s reminder that crossing its red line of supporting Taiwan secessionism will have consequences on a battlefield, ones that neither the U.S. or the so-called Taiwan independence forces can afford.
