With 80 acres of rugged terrain and trails perfect for hiking, biking, off-roading and more, the park has something to offer for everyone in the family.
Bring your hiking shoes and off-road vehicles to this family-friendly exploration oasis. The diverse land ranges from open prairie and woods to some of the coolest ravines and small canyons outside of state parks. There are extremely challenging places to explore, as well as plenty of easier trails to enjoy with little ones. Some trails are wide and maintained, but free-range exploration is welcome in the park.
Cool off in the 10-feet-deep Splash Pond as weather permits. A small rock wall, tetherball and access to climb a tree are other on-site features for little ones to explore. Be sure to snag one of the park's picnic areas arranged with a picnic table, swings and hammocks to set up your grill and rest in the shade.
From mountain bikes and dirt bikes to four-wheelers, ATVs and off-road SUVs, adrenaline junkies can get their thrills racing on the North Track. Plunge into the ravine and shoot up over the canyon walls in your dirt or mountain bikes. Jeep enthusiasts can crawl through the canyons for a day of off-roading fun.
Whether you prefer to explore on foot, bike or off-road vehicle, The Ravine in Macomb is a wonderful day-trip spot to escape city life and connect with nature. This outdoor adventure park is home to several horses, pigs, goat and dogs, so be sure to leave your own pets at home for the day. Check park hours before planning your trip, and remember all park visitors are required to sign liability waivers.
Macomb, OK has a population of just under 1,500 people. They are a close-knit community that values hard work and good neighbors.
