Healing The Desert With A Different Approach

The Annual Texas A&M Beef Cattle Short Course or BCSC is the largest beef cattle educational event in the world. Here you can gain a lot of valuable knowledge about topics such as animal health, genetics, breeding or nutrition.

Aside from my permaculture approach to greening the desert at dustups ranch, I think using cattle would be the best way to regenerate the ranch and give new life to one of the most isolated spots in texas.

I had a million questions answered at the BCSC as well as intense conversations with CFO Tom Waschington and Ken Smith of the Savory Institute about my future plans with Dustups Ranch.
Aside from local ranchers and experts who have given me numerous tips to avoid beginner mistakes, I think that with the BCSC I now have a good foundation of knowledge to continue my plans with Dustups Ranch.
